Job summary

Keys Inclusion Pathway is seeking dedicated tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. This is a full-time Education Mentor role with home-based sessions and some remote delivery in the area.

The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, term-time only, with a salary of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience. A compassionate, child-centred, trauma-informed approach and a valid UK driving licence are

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience teaching or tutoring children and young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs
• Experience delivering the UK curriculum
• Availability for at least 2 days (or 4 sessions) per week
• Compassionate, child-centred and trauma-informed approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, one-to-one lessons aligned to each learner's individual needs
• Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs to build confidence and make meaningful progress
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement and wellbeing
• Work closely with safeguarding specialists to ensure student safety at all times
• Primarily deliver face-to-face tuition in students' homes, with some remote teaching opportunities
