Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Educational Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor to provide clinical skills and case management supervision to EMHPs. The role involves supporting children and young people in educational settings, delivering evidence-based interventions, and working closely with education professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a successful completion of the HEE commissioned Education Mental Health Practitioner course and experience in mental health support. This position aims to enhance the quality of mental health services within educational environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified low intensity cognitive behavioural therapist supervisor.
• Registered with an official regulatory body such as BABCP or BPS.
• Experience working within a mental health support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and caseload management to EMHPs / EMHP trainees.
• Assess and deliver evidence-based interventions in educational settings.
• Support children and young people in self-management of mental health difficulties.
