Job summary

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust in Bournemouth invites applications for a Practice Education Facilitator on a 12-month secondment funded by NHSE, linking SWASFT Practice Educators and Bournemouth University students. The role involves coordinating, supporting students and staff across organisations, with a focus on education pathways, mentoring, and building local networks.

A strong understanding of SWASFT operations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent such as an apprenticeship or diploma and working towards a relevant post-graduate level qualification such as MSc
• Mentorship level 7 or working towards.
• Award in Education and Training or higher or working towards
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Able to meet the knowledge and skills framework for the role
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the Trust as required
• Substantial experience in an Ambulance Service or equivalent.
• Management or Clinical Leadership qualification
