Job summary

The Virtual School in Walsall is seeking an Inclusion Officer to help improve life chances for our most vulnerable children and young people. You will work with schools and education settings, with a solid understanding of SEN and exclusions processes and awareness of challenges faced by vulnerable children in education.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Lifelong Learning teams and partner agencies to raise awareness, remove barriers to engagement, and support enhanced educational

Qualifications

• Experience working with schools or education settings.
• Understanding of SEN and exclusions processes.
• Awareness of challenges facing vulnerable children in education.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lifelong Learning teams to challenge and support schools.
• Collaborate with Family Help and Social Care to remove barriers to engagement.
• Contribute to improved educational outcomes for vulnerable children.
