Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is recruiting an Inclusion Officer for the Education Inclusion & Partnership Team. You will work with schools and families to ensure vulnerable children access their full educational entitlement and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with schools and families to support vulnerable learners.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Work with schools and settings to ensure vulnerable children have access to high-quality education.
• Manage and prioritise an allocated caseload, including preparation of legal documents for Magistrates Court.
• Undertake home visits and participate in multi-agency meetings (Team Around the Family, Early Help, etc.).
• Support training, induction, mentoring and shadowing of new staff.
