Job summary

Dataspire Solutions in Manchester invites a proactive Project Manager to lead education ICT projects from planning through delivery, commissioning and handover. You will coordinate schools, contractors and internal teams to ensure milestones, budgets and quality are met.

This customer-facing role requires excellent communication, driving licence and willingness to visit sites. Hybrid working with occasional travel supports a fast-paced, collaborative environment in the education technology

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within education ICT.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of project planning, governance, risk, and budget management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage several concurrent projects.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience delivering projects within schools, colleges, academies, or local authority environments.
• Knowledge of education sector funding or project delivery frameworks.
• Experience with ICT, AV, networking, or digital transformation projects.
• SMSTS, SSSTS, or relevant Health & Safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple education technology projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Chair progress meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor project performance against agreed milestones and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and project governance requirements.
• Manage project change control and financial reporting.
• Support commissioning, handover, and post-project review activities.
