Rochdale Town Hall is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Manager to lead and develop ICT provision across our Pupil Referral Service. You will oversee day-to-day operations, security and systems to support staff and pupils.

This role covers three sites, requires delivering a secure, reliable service and providing technical leadership while managing budgets, procurement and supplier relationships. You will ensure GDPR compliance, safeguard responsibilities and work with senior leaders to harness

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing networks, wireless systems, servers and endpoints.
• Understanding of cyber security principles and best practice.
• Experience of ICT procurement and budget management.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical staff.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage ICT across three sites with the Director of Operations.
• Maintain network infrastructure, servers, cloud services and telecoms.
• Ensure cyber security measures are robust and compliant.
• Manage ICT budgets, procurement and supplier relationships.
• Provide technical leadership and support to staff.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and replacement of ICT hardware and software.
• Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance.
• Support safeguarding through secure management of digital systems.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to improve teaching, learning and operations.
• Manage ICT projects from planning to implementation.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
