Job summary

NHS Tayside in Dundee is recruiting a Band 7/8a Pharmacist on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 23 months. Part-time 15 hours per week (7.5 hours/day may be considered). Band 7 salary range £52,845–£61,466, with progression depending on experience.

You will join the Education and Training team, developing post-registration education and supporting learners across acute, general practice and mental health sectors. Applicants should be GPhC-registered and hold postgraduate qualifications.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacist, preferably across sectors.
• Post-graduate qualification in advanced pharmacy practice or equivalent.
• Independent prescriber or working towards it.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time management.

Responsibilities

• Support supervisor and learner groups across acute service, general practice and mental health.
• Collaborate with training providers and NHS colleagues.
• Contribute to development of workforce development structure.
