Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support seven Swindon schools with planned and remedial building services maintenance. You will focus on plumbing, HVAC, and water systems, delivering safe and compliant operations across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have HVAC knowledge, water system expertise, and relevant safety certifications (IPAF, PASMA, unvented hot water). This full-time role follows alternating shift patterns to cover site needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services and facilities engineering.
• Unvented hot water ticket and L8 Level 2 certification.
• Proficiency in heating systems, AHUs, pumps and heat exchangers.
• IPAF and PASMA certifications.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating systems, AHUs, pumps and heat exchangers.
• Oversee safety and safe systems of work for contractors.
• Carry out plumbing repairs and minor electrical tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Conduct building audits and safety checks.
