Job summary

Leeds City College is recruiting a Data Analyst in the Quality of Education team. You will manage data from collection and preparation through to analysis and reporting, create dashboards, identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making, while ensuring data accuracy and governance.

If you do not already hold a Level 4 or higher data qualification, you will complete a Level 4 Data Analysis Apprenticeship as part of the role.

Qualifications

Level 2 English and Maths required.
Level 3 qualification or above.
Experience using IT systems and MS Office.
Experience analysing data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Strong analytical, mathematical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Understand reporting and data requirements with stakeholders.
Collect, cleanse and manage data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor performance, risks and opportunities.
Analyse and interpret data trends, providing insights and recommendations.
Present findings while maintaining confidentiality and data standards.
Provide support and guidance on Quality of Education systems and data, including routine administration and staff training.
Deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a collaborative team.
