Job summary

GVR Solutions in Southwest London is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead education refurbishment and extension projects. You will report to the Construction Director and oversee operations teams to ensure programmes are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires managing multiple contracts concurrently, with delegation of workload and ongoing upskilling of the team, while maintaining excellent communication across all levels of the project.

Qualifications

• Previous Contracts Management experience within an established main contractor.
• Experience ideally working on Education refurbishment projects
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing multiple contracts at once
• Upskilling abilities
• Organised and attentive
• Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid qualifications are ideal
• A degree/HNC in a related subject would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Construction Director with close oversight of the operations teams across all allocated projects.
• Maintain a clear and precise programme throughout projects to complete on time and within budget.
• Manage multiple projects at once with the ability to delegate workload while upskilling the team.
