Job summary

Kindred are seeking a reliable Cleaner to be based at The Mead, Watford WD19 5BT, supporting classrooms, toilets and common areas across our sites. The role is zero-hours with variable days and hours, and a DBS check is required to ensure suitability.

You should be able to work independently, follow instructions, and complete tasks to a high standard while adhering to COSHH and health and safety guidelines. Previous cleaning experience is welcomed; English communication should be clear.

Qualifications

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role.
• Follow instructions (including written) and work safely for periods of time on their own.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• English language ability; communication clear in English.
• Shift patterns with fixed timings.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints.
• Emptying bins and restocking supplies.
• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks when required.
• Reporting maintenance issues and hazards promptly.
