Job summary

Explore Learning Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a confident, people-first leader to run one of our education centres. You’ll own service delivery, member acquisition, and your centre’s growth while building a high-performing team.

You’ll use KPIs to drive results, ensure safeguarding and Ofsted compliance, and lead from the front, coaching tutors and supporting families from first enquiry through progress. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a starting salary of £31,250 to £33,750 per

The Role

You’ll lead all aspects of centre performance, including:

A Day in the Life

You’ll balance hands‑on educational leadership with operational excellence.

  • You’ll role model excellent tutoring and coach your team, supporting your members to achieve real maths and English progress and unlock a love of learning
  • You’ll monitor and celebrate member progress, holding meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps
  • You’ll build your centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement and sales activation
  • You’ll host trial sessions, manage enquiries and new member experience, making sure every family feels welcome and supported

Logistics

Location: You will be based at one of our Explore Learning centres in Birmingham full-time.

Starting salary: £31,250 - £33,750 PA salary depending on experience.

Contract: Full-time, permanent contract

Working Hours: a typical week*:

Tuesday 11am-8pm

Wednesday 11am-8pm

Thursday 11am-7pm

Friday 9am-6pm

Saturday 9am-5pm

*working hours may vary from centre to centre
