Job summary

Holroyd Howe, a leading education caterer in Hull, seeks a Food Service Assistant/General Assistant/Catering Assistant to support breakfast, lunch and dinner services at a prestigious school. You will help maintain high standards of food safety, service and teamwork in a busy dining environment.

The role requires flexibility, enthusiasm and a proactive approach, with opportunities for training and development within Holroyd Howe's education catering teams.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within Education catering.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and customer focus.
• Enthusiastic, well organised and a team player.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
• Maintain front of house cleanliness and organise dishes and utensils.
• Follow food handling and storage procedures for safety.
• Monitor food and supply levels; report shortages to management.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff during meals.
• Participate in training on food service procedures, safety and customer service.
