Job summary

JustOT in Southwest London is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team in a permanent Band 6 role within an educational setting. You will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions, supporting children and young people, including those with Autism/ASC, to develop essential skills and promote participation.

The role requires HCPC registration, a qualification as an Occupational Therapist, and experience in education with strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant degree.
• Experience with children and young people in education.
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism/ASC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting within education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and interventions in educational settings.
• Provide therapy services to children and young people with Autism/ASC.
• Develop individualised therapy programmes.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and SENCOs.
• Maintain clinical records and documentation.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
