About The School

St Charles’ Primary School is a welcoming Catholic primary school serving the Newton area of Cambuslang. The school serves children from Primary 1 to Primary 7 across 13 classes and is based in a modern building, opened in 2011, with an additional five classrooms added in 2021.

As part of the Trinity High School Learning Community, the school benefits from strong partnerships with Trinity High School, six feeder primary schools and a wide range of local agencies and community organisations.

The school’s vision is to be “a family of love, kindness and respect.” Inspired by love and the values of the Gospel, St Charles’ aims to empower everyone in its school family to achieve their full potential.
