About The School

St Elizabeth's Primary School is a vibrant Catholic school at the heart of the Eddlewood community in Hamilton, serving children and families from Eddlewood, Silvertonhill and the surrounding area.

As part of the Holy Cross Learning Community, the school benefits from strong partnerships with Holy Cross High School, nine feeder primary schools and a wide range of local agencies and community organisations.

The school serves a diverse and increasingly multicultural community. Guided by its vision of "striving to support and develop a love of lifelong learning for everyone" and its motto "Learn Together, Laugh Together, Be the Best You Can,", St Elizabeth's provides an inclusive, nurturing and aspirational environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school has a strong reputation for positive relationships, community engagement and partnership working, supported by a committed staff team, highly engaged families and an active parent partnership group.

Transforming learning and teaching, inspiring learners, improving attainment and supporting young people to achieve their potential is what we want our schools to achieve.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated leader who can take forward the Council's priorities for education and the drivers of change in the National Improvement Framework. You can do this as a Head Teacher in one of our modern school buildings which are designed to deliver a 21st century curriculum.
