Job summary

Imperial College London’s Department of Computing seeks an EdTech Software Engineer to design, build and operate software used daily by staff and students. You will work closely with users to understand needs, deploy reliable systems, and contribute to improvements using modern software engineering practices.

You will engage with teaching and mentoring activities, exploring AI and automation to enhance education and collaboration with colleagues across the College.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Computing-related subject.
• Experience in collaborative software development.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate software used by staff and students.
• Collaborate with users to understand needs and deliver reliable systems.
• Teach, mentor and supervise student projects where applicable.
