Job summary

Salt is seeking a Data Analyst to turn learner, product and commercial data into actionable insights. You will work across Product, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Operations and Data teams to build reporting solutions using SQL, MySQL, Power BI and Google Analytics 4.

This is a hands-on analytics role with no leadership duties. You will own analyses from initial requirements to recommendations, communicating findings to stakeholders and contributing to data governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of data analysis, BI or product analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and MySQL skills with reporting delivery.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Power BI.
• Ability to translate data into commercial or product recommendations.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs for digital products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise SQL queries in MySQL to produce accurate, reliable reporting datasets.
• Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards covering product performance, learner behaviour and commercial outcomes.
• Use Google Analytics 4 to analyse customer journeys, acquisition, conversion funnels and engagement.
• Analyse learner engagement and retention to improve customer experience and growth.
• Evaluate digital products, services and campaigns, providing clear recommendations.
• Support pricing, onboarding and product development through analysis.
