Responsibilities

• Set and operate erosion machinery as per program requirements.
• Monitor performance of machines to meet cycle times.
• Maintain accurate work logs and ensure safety procedures.

Job description

Maxwell Consultancy have partnered with a growing engineering business in Glasgow who require an EDM Machinist for their state of the art workshop. The company have a generous benefits package and great staff retention. This a full-time permanent position working 37 hours per week.

What's required?

• Time-served engineer
• Set/operate Spark & wire erosion machinery
• Run the EDM/Wire machines in line with the programs and monitor performance to ensure the cycle times are met
• Working with various batch sizes
• Ability to follow technical engineer drawings
• Maintain accurate work log
• Adhere to health & safety procedures within the workshop at all times
