Job summary

CME Group in Belfast is seeking an eDiscovery Intern to support the Director and Analysts across data identification, preservation, and collection. You will learn eDiscovery best practices and the litigation lifecycle while gaining exposure to the scale of electronically stored information in a modern enterprise.

You will assist with workflows, organize materials, and contribute to data analytics and filtering methods.

Qualifications

Imminent or current degree in IT, CS, Law, or Business.
Year in industry 2026-7 required.
Interest in eDiscovery processes and information governance.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up data preservation and data collection workflows.
Organize collected materials with custodians and matters.
Review and update Legal Hold Record Inventory with RIM team.
Provide preliminary analysis of large datasets using standard filtering (deduplication).
Assist in testing new data analytics and filtering methods for eDiscovery tools.
Apply data filtering techniques to organize and process ESI efficiently.
Maintain and update internal playbooks for tools and workflows.
