Job summary

FTI Consulting, Inc. seeks a sandwich-year student for a 1-year placement in our London office. The role offers exposure to e-Discovery within the Technology Consulting team, with cross-functional training and client-facing project exposure.

You will be cross-trained in diverse e-Discovery skills, supporting data collection, processing, analysis, and quality control, while collaborating with multiple teams across regions and potentially traveling for projects.

Qualifications

• Must be studying in a sandwich course for a 1-year placement.
• Penultimate year of university with good academic standing.
• Motivation to work in e-Discovery team at FTI Consulting.

Responsibilities

• Witness client and project manager communication to gather requests.
• Plan and execute data collection and evidence gathering on-site in the UK and abroad.
• Use industry-standard software to access, extract and process data from electronic sources.
• Support day-to-day data processing, analysis, quality control, and data conversion tasks.
• Collaborate with consultants, supervisors, and client personnel to meet deadlines.
• Travel as required with minimal notice to support case activities.
