Job summary

Right There seeks an experienced Housing Services Manager to lead the mobilisation, development and day‑to‑day delivery of Edinburgh housing services. You will build new programmes under Private Rented Accommodation and Supported Lodgings, establish strong local partnerships and ensure high-quality housing management and support for service users.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and coordinating with local authorities/external agencies.
• Knowledge of housing legislation, homelessness services and tenancy sustainment.
• Experience with safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation and implementation of Edinburgh Private Rented Accommodation and Supported Lodgings programmes.
• Develop procedures, referral pathways and service delivery processes with QA and performance monitoring.
• Oversee housing management, allocations, occupancy and tenancy sustainment.
• Lead trauma-informed, person-centred support and ensure risk assessments and safeguarding are completed.
• Ensure compliant accommodation with inspections, repairs reporting and void management.
• Build partnerships with City of Edinburgh Council, landlords and homelessness sector partners.
• Recruit, induct and manage staff and promote reflective practice and wellbeing.
• Monitor KPIs, produce performance information and drive continuous improvement and incident responses.
• Support budget planning and participate in on-call rota.
