The role focuses on building real-world machine learning systems for resource-limited environments, particularly edge, cloud-edge, mobile or IoT settings.

The successful candidate will develop a personal research agenda, plan and deliver work with software artefacts and publications, supervise project students, and contribute to proposals

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or cognate discipline.
• Expertise in machine learning systems and algorithms for cloud-edge, mobile, or IoT settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop a personal research area addressing systems-oriented challenges for building real-world ML systems for resource-limited environments, such as edge computing.
• Plan and deliver research, accompanying software artefacts and publications, and supervise research students while assisting in proposals.
