Are you an organised administrator with strong IT skills looking for a new opportunity to develop your career in international trade and customs compliance for a global engineering company?

Due to continued expansion, this company is looking to add a detail-oriented Customs Administrator to its operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to break into or further develop their career in international trade administration.


This role will involve working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure customs documentation is correctly prepared and submitted, managing import/export data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting wider logistics operations utalising excel based systems.


The ideal candidate will be IT-savvy, confident using Excel spreadsheets, and eager to learn new skills. Prior experience in customs or international shipping administration is a strong advantage but not essential.


The Role:

  • Supporting the import and export process with accurate customs documentation
  • Managing data entry and reporting using Excel and internal systems
  • Working closely with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments
  • Maintaining accurate records in compliance with customs regulations
  • Full training provided in customs procedures and systems

The Person:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Keen to learn and develop knowledge of customs and international trade
  • Previous experience in administration or logistics beneficial
  • Knowledge of customs procedures is desirable but not essential
