Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Memory
Role Overview:
The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in discovering quality products, testing them, negotiating prices, deciding order quantities based on forecasts and stock levels, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to promote and sell products.
Responsibilities:
- Define and expand the product range, working with Suppliers, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Sales teams to bring products to market.
- Manage SSD and enterprise server product portfolios.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to work with resellers, data centres, and enterprise customers.
- Analyze order and sales data to monitor product performance and stock levels.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs and terms.
- Identify new sales platforms and ensure product data accuracy.
- Develop understanding of new products, technologies, and market trends through supplier visits.
- Research and evaluate new suppliers and their competitive advantages.
- Coordinate with customer service, sales, and technical teams to address quality issues.
- Monitor market competition and develop response strategies.
- Set pricing and lead-time guidelines for sales teams.
- Train sales and marketing teams on product features and technical support.
- Establish go-to-market strategies and lead product launches.
- Use sales data to develop forecasts.
- Build relationships with vendors to develop product roadmaps and introduce innovative products.
- Monitor shipments and lead-times, communicating delays promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with storage solutions, including SSD, DRAM, or enterprise storage products.
- Experience across Enterprise, Gaming, PC, Industrial, and Encrypted storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of memory products, market trends, and dynamics.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of end-user requirements.
- Experience supporting marketing and sales with digital and e-commerce teams.
- Proven ability in inventory planning, demand forecasting, negotiation, and pricing.
- Initiative-taking, responsible, and innovative mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
