A leading health board in Wales is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Nurse to join their Health Visiting Senior Leadership Team. The role focuses on promoting strong leadership and clinical governance while ensuring quality services for children. The successful candidate will support the Health Visiting Service in implementing key recommendations and integrating services across the board, contributing to the Early Years Healthy Child Wales Programme.

There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This temporary top-up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nurse to join our Health Visiting Senior Leadership Team within Public Health Nursing. This post holder will utilize their specialist knowledge and skills to promote strong, compassionate leadership and clinical governance to ensure the provision of quality services, enabling all children to have the best start in life.
The role will support the Health Visiting Service in the modernisation and implementation of the Health Visiting Improvement and Sustainability Board recommendations.
The post holder will jointly ensure the effective integration of services across ABUHB and ensure the delivery of the Early Years Healthy Child Wales Programme.
All applicants must meet the essential requirements and demonstrate application of practice with regard to the job description and person specification.
