£52,800 - £54,385

Aston Education is seeking a Head of Business Department to join a Sixth Form College near Victoria station in Central London. The college has a Good Ofsted rating with Outstanding features.

You will develop high-quality content and deliver excellent lessons in A level Business Studies, maintaining outstanding standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.

There will be opportunities to lead on elements of the course aligned with your expertise, as well as team teaching opportunities to develop your skills in others.

You will teach small classes of Year 12 and 13 students, with generally very good behaviour.

The ideal candidate will be a talented Business Studies Teacher with middle management experience and QTS/QTLS. You should have A level Business Studies teaching experience, strong subject knowledge, and a proven impact on students' outcomes and progress.

Experience teaching Computer Science, Computing, or IT at Level 2 or 3 is desirable.

The college's vision is to practically educate young people in digital skills to prepare them for the tech sector, working closely with employers.
