Job summary

Arm Cambridge is seeking an EDA Optimisation Engineer to drive data-driven optimization across HPC compute, cloud and emulation platforms. You will build analytics to improve utilisation, forecasting and infrastructure strategy within the Productivity Engineering group.

You will partner with engineering, operations and finance to enable scalable, data-driven decisions and deliver dashboards and pipelines for performance insights.

Qualifications

• Background in distributed HPC, cloud environments, data engineering & analytics.
• Knowledge of EDA workflows and semiconductor engineering environments.
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis/ML frameworks.
• Ability to turn sophisticated data into clear, actionable strategy.

Responsibilities

• Platform optimization and systems engineering to improve HPC scheduling and efficiency.
• Assist with performance benchmarking to support platform decisions.
• Observability and performance analysis through dashboards and visualisations.
• Cost and resource optimization using CUR and infra metrics for forecasting and budgeting.
• Build and maintain scalable analytics frameworks to measure utilisation, capacity, and workload behaviour.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to enable data-driven decisions.
