Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal guidance to clients on their rights, potential defences, and legal outcomes.
• Conduct in-depth case analysis to develop a robust defence strategy.
• Represent clients by instructing counsel and liaising with barristers for court proceedings.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant laws, precedents, and statutes that may impact client cases.
• Collaborate with external experts, such as forensic experts and investigators, to support the defence strategy.
• Provide occasional out-of-hours phone support on a rotational basis.
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and work in the best interests of our clients.

Person Specification:

• Minimum 1 year in motoring law with direct client engagement and caseload management. Non-motoring experience in criminal law will also be considered.
• Qualified Solicitor with 3 years’ PQE and a Law Degree (2:2 or higher), CiLEX, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in case management systems like Proclaim.
• Analytical thinker, organised, resilient, empathetic, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
