About the role

Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Project Engineer with Electrical Engineering experience on our Operational Team to deliver complex work that truly matters to our business and the world around us.

As a Project Engineer, your role will be:

  1. To formalize and specify a delivery solution,
  2. To brief out the solution to the working party and ensure it is followed and completed.

What you'll be doing

Joining our award-winning project management team as a Project Engineer, you’ll get to:

  • Take responsibility for smaller projects or sections of larger projects.

  • Be involved in procuring subcontractors.

  • Develop and deliver engineered solutions and briefs to the working party.
  • Deliver activities safely, sustainably, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Monitor and record works to ensure compliance promptly.

  • Manage and care for the people delivering the work.
Who we're looking for

You will have:

  • Experience and a track record in delivering electrical engineering projects.
  • Experience supporting large infrastructure projects within our industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodology.
  • Strong people management skills, commercial awareness, and knowledge of budget and financial control.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
