Inverclyde Council is seeking a part-time Secondary Teacher of Chemistry for St Stephen's High School in Port Glasgow. GTCS Registration
Applicants must be registered with the GTCS and maintain registration, including paying any applicable fees. Teachers in their probationary year can apply for temporary, un-promoted vacancies but will be paid at the probationer rate of £31,584 per year (pro-rata if applicable).
Roman Catholic Church Approval
If applicable, the successful candidate must be approved by the Roman Catholic Church, in line with Section 21 (A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980. Forms are available from the Scottish Catholic Education Service at: https://sces.org.uk/church-approval/
Head Teacher Reports
Successful candidates must download, complete, and sign the Head Teacher Report form, then pass it to their current Head Teacher for completion and signature. The form should then be emailed to interview.support@inverclyde.gov.uk with the current Head Teacher CC'd.
