A leading company in sustainable transport is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive innovation and oversee technology strategy. The CTO will manage systems development and lead a cross-functional team to enhance customer experience and support expansion into new markets. We’re a Charge Point Operator (CPO) on a mission to create the UK’s most reliable electric vehicle charging network that is environmentally friendly and inclusive. Our goal is to provide equitable access to electric vehicle charging and to promote cleaner air for all. We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high-quality charging networks efficiently and at scale, at no cost to users.

The CTO is a key member of the Senior Leadership team, responsible for setting the technology vision, building scalable platforms, managing teams, and driving innovation to support our expansion into new markets. The CTO will oversee the development and maintenance of our systems, including hardware and software, and will champion continuous improvement and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team leader with excellent technical skills and proactive in planning and executing strategic initiatives. The CTO will provide leadership and ownership in areas such as:
