Qualifications

  • At least three years' experience as a SOC Analyst.
  • Active certification in SC-200, SANS GIAC, or Blue Team Level 1.
  • Demonstrable experience with customer and stakeholder management.

Who are we looking for?

You'll be someone who likes to continually develop to ensure you continually improve your skills to remain current with the latest industry trends and technologies. You will be responsible for critical items within our service such as handling and response of critical incidents, leading a highly skilled analyst shift team, mentoring and developing people and processes, and helping shape the direction of the SOC.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage complex Incident Triage, Investigation, Containment and Eradication activities of high priority Incidents and provide assessment and quality assurance of those performed by the analysts within your team.
  • Sign off all containment and Eradication activities conducted by your Shift.
  • Own and run threat hunts.
  • Provide oversight of Ticket and SLA Management for your shift.
  • Identify and put forward tuning requests.
  • Act as an escalation point prior to on-call.
  • Mentor and Develop all members of your shift.
  • Join and Support SOC Leadership calls, providing feedback and suggestions on how to improve the SOC.
  • Provide Quality Assurance.
You will need to have experience in:
  • At least three years' experience as a SOC Analyst.
  • One of the following active certifications: SC-200, SANS GIAC, Blue Team Level 1.
  • One of the following active certifications: SANS GCIH or GCIA.
  • Demonstrable experience with customer and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in a Service Provider environment.
  • Strong experience within Microsoft Security stack.

Location

Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy; however, travel to different sites may be required occasionally.
