As a Senior Security Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the client's network and endpoints using SIEM platforms for security alerts and incident investigation.
  • Providing second and third-tier analysis and investigation for security incidents and alerts.
  • Driving containment strategies during incidents, data loss, or breaches.
  • Using security tools such as firewalls, IDS, NAC, and data encryption to protect information and investigate issues.
  • Supporting the CSO and clients through direct communication with security teams.
  • Documenting security incidents and assessing damages through reports.
  • Proactively advising client teams on threats, vulnerabilities, and security updates.
  • Understanding and communicating emerging security threats to various audiences within the client organization.
  • Researching latest security trends to understand their potential impact on the client's environment.
  • Participating in an incident response team on a rotating out-of-hours basis.
  • Creating relevant reports such as daily summaries, handover documents, and threat analyses.
  • Coordinating with third parties and vendors for SIEM troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Security Analyst.
