We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Banking Operations for a bank based in Harrow.

Purpose of the role: To perform oversight, review, and management of the operational aspects of retail branches. This includes assisting with their day-to-day queries, reviewing reconciliation of accounts such as Nostro/Sundry/Suspense, overseeing the functions of the Credit Admin Department, and reconciling accounts held with third parties such as LMS.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing retail branches with the support of the Head of Branch Operations.
2. Overseeing reconciliation of NOSTRO/VOSTRO accounts.
3. Reviewing loan accounts for compliance with sanction terms at disbursement and ongoing, including interest, fees, charges recovery, security creation, and valuations.
4. Reviewing reports generated by the Credit Admin Department on a sample basis for accuracy and compliance.
5. Ensuring the accuracy of credit data maintained by the Credit Admin Department.
6. Monitoring credit operations for compliance with credit policies.
7. Reviewing branch sundry and suspense accounts, complaints processes, and charges returns.
8. Handling requests related to deceased cases, investigations, legal data requests, and unclaimed accounts.
9. Conducting onsite and offsite branch oversight, with reporting to higher management.
10. Improving process manuals, SOPs, and policies.
11. Submitting management information reports to hierarchy and branches.
12. Performing any other duties delegated by the Head of Branch Operations.
