Your new role

As our Senior Environmental Consultant, you'll play a vital role in our strategic mission to ensure environmental sustainability and compliance for a broad spectrum of clients. Joining our Compliance, Sustainability, and Transactions department, you'll be part of a vibrant and growing team. Our projects span various sectors, including enhancing legal compliance programs, overseeing environmental management systems, and navigating permitting processes. Our flexible hybrid working model supports your work-life balance, enabling you to excel professionally and personally.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Prepare and conduct environmental compliance audits and manage audit programs
• Collaborate closely with global Ramboll teams and subject matter experts
• Oversee environmental projects to deliver solutions on time and within budget
• Identify and communicate environmental risks and present opportunities to improve sustainable practices
• Foster the technical and digital evolution of our compliance and permitting services

About you

• Extensive experience in environmental consultancy or significant exposure to environmental regulations
• Solid understanding of the UK environmental regulatory landscape and auditing procedures
• Proficient report writing skills and project management experience
• Background in health and safety, e.g., NEBOSH qualification, is beneficial; membership in organisations like IOSH or IEMA is advantageous
• An enthusiastic learner with dependable communication skills, ready to take on new challenges and contribute innovative solutions
