Job summary

National Grid is seeking an experienced Head of ED3 PMO for an 18‑month fixed term contract to steer a critical regulatory programme. You will lead governance, plan delivery, manage risks and provide succinct reporting to executive leadership.

You will coordinate across Regulation, Finance, Asset Management and Technology, ensuring alignment, readiness and timely decisions as ED3 progresses through Ofgem milestones and mobilisation for delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading PMO in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong governance, risk, dependency management and integrated planning skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ED3 Programme Management Office with clear governance, standards and controls.
• Own the integrated programme plan with milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Provide timely reporting to programme leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, actions and dependencies with clear escalation.
• Coordinate assurance and evidence management for audit readiness.
• Build and lead a high-performing PMO team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with workstreams to maintain alignment across delivery.
• Translate complex data into actionable, decision-ready insights.
