EVIP provides alternative education in various colleges for pupils who display a range of distressed behaviours. The role is pivotal in supporting young people by providing intensive pastoral support, liaising with parents/carers and other agencies. Experience of working with vulnerable young people in groups is essential, as is the delivery of SQA Qualifications.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential upon taking up the appointment. Please note that successful candidates will be required to pay for their PVG Membership or Scheme Checks.
