Abbott Vascular UK is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist to join our Coronary team! This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates in Biomedical Sciences or similar fields looking to start their careers in the medical devices industry.

The Clinical Specialist will provide operational support during procedures and training to support strategic, operational, and quality objectives within the assigned territory (South Wales/West Midlands/East Anglia/East Midlands).

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and driving employee and customer clinical training and sign-off. Creating bespoke training programs based on customer needs.
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of Abbott therapies and technologies, understanding the healthcare market, and clinical studies to support product advantages.
• Supporting physicians during clinical procedures as primary technical support, escalating as needed.
• Supporting product implementation and customer education.
• Conducting product presentations and responding to technical questions.

Requirements include:

• A BSc in Biomedical Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in a Cath lab or similar clinical role is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A motivated individual with strong IT skills and willingness to travel extensively (driving license required).
