Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recruiting for a Clinical Housekeeper in the Adult Emergency Department in Stevenage. The role is an early shift from 07:00 to 15:00, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, supporting patient safety by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the Emergency Department.
• Follows infection control protocols including cleaning of high-touch surfaces and equipment.
• Restocks essential supplies such as PPE, hand sanitizers, towels, and cleaning products.
• Reports maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Assists staff in preparing treatment areas and restocking items.
• Supports the ward with general organisation and patient care.
