Your new company

Are you an ECT primary teacher who wants to network your skills in the Preston and wider Lancashire area? At Hays, we have a variety of popular and well-respected schools already seeking their new and enthusiastic ECTs for full-time posts. We are looking for ECTs who can teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum. The role is required to start in September 2025.

Your new role

As an ECT/NQT, you will work with a number of primary schools across various areas in the Wigan area. The positions we offer may require you to follow lesson plans and deliver lessons. We can provide day-to-day positions, short-term contracts, as well as long-term roles that could last more than a term and potentially lead to permanent employment.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable, and able to start immediately. A good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum is also expected.
