Job summary

ICF is seeking an Analyst (Economist) to join its UK Policy Research, Evaluation and Strategy (PRES) team. You’ll deliver high-quality economic analysis for public sector clients and contribute to economic evaluations, VfM and cost-benefit studies.

In a fast-paced, international environment with diverse nationalities, you’ll develop your skills through training and peer-to-peer learning while helping to grow ICF’s economics capability across policy areas.

Qualifications

• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You will have a wide range of interests and be able to develop a nuanced understanding of complex economic issues.
• You will have a proven track record in contributing to consulting assignments, economic/VfM evaluations, and/or other economic analysis projects.
• Your experience could have been gained in consulting, government, a regulatory agency, academia, or the private sector.

Responsibilities

• Undertake economic analysis supporting policy research and evaluation.
• Support delivery of economic evaluation, VfM / 5Es analysis, cost-benefit analysis and bespoke economic studies.
• Analyse quantitative datasets and evidence.
• Communicate findings clearly.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Support development of ICF's economics capability.
