Job summary

IVC Evidensia, via Pet Drugs Online, is seeking a Head of Logistics Operations in the UK to lead warehousing, logistics and fulfilment for a high-volume ecommerce operation. You will direct a team of around 50 colleagues, partner with suppliers and carriers, and drive performance and customer experience.

You will work with the Director of Operations to shape logistics strategy, manage KPIs, forecast demand, and deliver cost efficiencies while maintaining safety standards and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership within logistics, warehousing, fulfilment or distribution.
• Track record of leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience driving operational and process improvements.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with stock control systems and operational reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on leadership with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience within ecommerce advantageous.
• Lean methodologies or similar continuous improvement frameworks would be beneficial.
• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Project Management advantageous.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume operation, lead a team of around 50 colleagues and play a key role in shaping our operational performance and customer experience.

How You'll Make a Difference

As Head of Logistics Operations, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of our warehouse, logistics partners, facilities and stock operations. You'll ensure products move efficiently from supplier to customer while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, colleague engagement and outstanding service levels.

Working closely with the Director of Operations, you'll help define and deliver the logistics strategy that supports our continued growth.

• Experience within ecommerce would be advantageous
