Job summary

Pet Drugs Online, part of IVC Evidensia Group, is looking for a senior supply chain leader to own the S&OP process, stock planning and inventory across a large, diverse product range. You will report to the Managing Director, lead teams responsible for stock control and 3PL relationships, and ensure credible stock plans underpin promotions, launches and major purchases.

Hybrid working with three days a week at the Keynsham site, offering a real impact across commercial, finance and warehouse

Qualifications

• Senior supply chain leadership with ownership of S&OP, planning and inventory across a large, complex range.
• Experience in distribution/reselling or healthcare supply chains is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run the monthly S&OP cycle and translate forecast into supply and purchasing plans.
• Set stock policy across the range for fast and slow movers and prescription lines.
• Own stock accuracy, supplier performance and carrier/3PL relationships.
• Ensure credible stock plans behind promotions, launches and major purchases in collaboration with Commercial, Finance and Warehouse Operations.
• Lead managers across stock, S&OP, carrier and 3PL, setting team standards.

How You'll Make a Difference

Pet Drugs Online sells 7,000 products, from prescription medicines to bulky, seasonal, short-dated and supplier-constrained lines. Your job is to get the right stock to the right place when a pet owner orders, without tying up cash on the shelves.

You'll report to the Managing Director, own Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and lead the teams responsible for stock control, planning and our carrier and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

• Run the monthly S&OP cycle, turning one agreed demand forecast into a supply and purchasing plan the business can stick to
• Set stock policy across the whole range, with different rules for fast movers, slow movers and prescription lines
• Own stock accuracy, supplier performance and our carrier and 3PL relationships
• Make sure every promotion, range launch and major purchase has a credible stock plan behind it, working with Commercial, Finance and Warehouse Operations
• Lead the managers across stock, S&OP, carrier and 3PL, and set the standards they work to

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

We're looking for a driven, capable professional who brings:

• Senior supply chain leadership, with direct ownership of S&OP, planning and inventory across a large, complex range
• A hands-on approach to the detail, such as a reorder point or supplier lead time, and the ability to step back and understand what it means for margin, cash, customers and the wider operation
• A background in distribution or reselling, which is highly preferred
• Direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience, which is highly desirable
• Dropshipping experience and experience managing suppliers with long lead times would be advantageous
