The Role

We are looking for a strong Senior Manager or existing Ecommerce Lead to lead our strong team, reporting to the Head of Ecommerce at Debenhams.

As the leader of the Ecommerce team you will be responsible for all team strategy, output and processes. You will work closely with a wide number of internal teams to ensure that we are showcasing our products and messages in an optimal way, across our global storefronts.

Your Team

You’ll be part of a medium-sized, collaborative, and supportive team that thrives in a fast-paced environment, focused on finding solutions. Our team plays a critical role in the business by ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the website, making sure all products, campaigns, and promotional activities launch on time and align with the broader business strategy.

What you'll be doing?

  1. Leading a team of ecommerce assistants, Execs and Senior Execs creating a collaborative and innovative work environment
  2. Ensure products, product visibility and navigation are fully optimised
  3. Feed into the UX testing roadmap to ensure a continued focus on customer journey improvement
  4. Feed into product hierarchy to ensure accurate attribution to drive product findability
  5. Define reporting and analysis to demonstrate value and feed into wider business decisions
  6. Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and key external partners
  7. Work closely with Marketing, Studio, Buying and Merchandising teams to optimise key trends, promotions and categories
  8. Lead and develop the team to ensure weekly new in targets are met
  9. Ensure the accurate delivery of campaign launches and promotions
  10. Provide requirements to the tech team to develop our tools and systems
