Job summary

Talent is recruiting an Ecommerce Assistant for a fast-growing UK retail business with an extensive store network. This permanent, full-time role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern.

You will support the Dropship Buying team with data entry, maintaining product, cost, retail price, margin and supplier information, and assist with new lines, commercial changes and reporting. The role offers exposure to buying, merchandising and ecommerce in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with data handling.
• Confident in Excel and spreadsheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Dropship Buying team.
• Maintain accurate product, cost, retail, margin and supplier information across relevant systems, trackers and internal documents.
• Support the Buying team with the administration and processing of new lines, commercial changes and product amendments.
• Identify discrepancies and take appropriate action, escalating where required.
• Support supplier administration, including invoice queries, account queries, sales reporting and general supplier communications.
• Assist Buyers with ad hoc requests, reporting, analysis and administrative tasks to support day-to-day trading activity.
• Ensure key trackers, working documents and reports are accurate, up to date and completed within agreed timescales.
• Work collaboratively with Buyers, suppliers and wider internal teams to resolve queries and ensure information is processed efficiently.
• Use initiative to identify issues, investigate problems and find practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual administration and increase efficiency across the Buying team.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
• Provide flexible support across the wider Buying function and assist with other duties or projects as required.
