Job summary

Lucy Walker Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Ecommerce Assistant to join a growing online sales team. You will create and manage product listings on Shopify, prepare images and maintain accurate product specifications, supporting stock information and order fulfilment.

The role emphasizes being highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with Shopify, WordPress or similar CMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Interest in eCommerce and online retail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar.
• Ability to write clear and engaging product descriptions.
• Willingness to learn about agricultural, turf and ground care equipment.
• Confidence to take ownership of tasks and projects while working as part of a team.
• Experience with Shopify, WordPress or another CMS would be beneficial, as would experience of stock or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate product listings using Shopify, including product descriptions and images.
• Ensure product information, specifications and technical details are accurate.
• Support website merchandising, promotions and online campaigns.
• Use design tools such as Canva and Photoshop to create/update visual content.
• Coordinate the online merchandise range.
• Support website order fulfilment by liaising with internal departments and suppliers.
• Respond to customer enquiries through email, telephone and online chat.
• Coordinate website and marketplace returns, exchanges and claims, including eBay.
• Support general eCommerce projects and day-to-day tasks.
