Job summary

Pebble Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a rapidly growing Bristol consultancy, is seeking an Ecologist to lead fieldwork and report writing for diverse projects around Bristol and the South West.

You will contribute to client liaison, coordinate protected species surveys, and deliver robust technical reports while developing professionally within a supportive, flexible environment.

The role offers progression, a generous holiday package, and TOIL entitlements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a UK consultancy conducting a range of protected species surveys.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Protected species licences are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the technical aspects of projects in and around Bristol, ensuring a high level of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
• Project coordination, client and stakeholder collaboration, and showcase the company's capabilities to potential clients.
• Prepare and oversee technical reports.
