Pebble Recruitment Ltd represents a well-established Environmental Consultancy in Birmingham actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their team in Birmingham.

The role involves undertaking protected species surveys, building tenders, producing complex technical reports, and managing mid to large projects with financial tracking. Hybrid working or fully remote options are available, with CPD budget and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in ecology or environment.
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence and knowledge of UK wildlife legislation.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking protected species surveys.
• Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations.
• Producing complex technical reports (PEA, BNG, protected species reports, etc.).
• Managing medium to large projects with financial tracking.
